Abstract

|
This paper studied on the stability of albumin bound Evans blue in the circulating blood, comparing the disappearance curve of Evans blue with that of I^(131)-albumin.
For the first two hours after the injection, no noticeable difference between the two methods were shown but from then on, the disapearance rate of Evans blue increased faster and faster as time passed indicating that albumin bound Evans blue is likely destroyed after the protein was diffused out into tissue fluid.
